Project description
The Class of 2013's SEO Africa Cares project was done at an Orphanage called Hope City, around Shai Hills.
The goal was to spend time with the kids, inspire them to pursue excellence and greatness and to share some of the interns' inspirational real-life stories.
The SEO alums spent some time talking about inspirational and well-known figures, who aside from their day jobs, turned their hobbies into additional sources of income. This was to motivate them not to settle for mediocrity, but also develop their hobbies and think about earning multiple streams of income.
The Class of 2013 also had a one-on-one speed mentoring session with the kids, where the children opened up about some of their fears and concerns and received support, guidance and coaching from the interns. It was a truly spectacular event!
